Review
Expired Hope was an action packed suspense story woven with a great romantic thread. I really liked the two main characters, Natalie and Macon. They both carried guilt over past traumatic events that impacted not only their daily decisions, but also affected the way they viewed themselves. There was so much tension on the fire crew! It was interesting to read about the way Natalie worked with the crew to understand what they went through on a daily basis. I really felt for Chief Macon James as he struggled to gain the crew’s loyalty. The danger and suspense in the story kept me anxiously turning pages and I enjoyed the way the romance grew between the main characters. This is the first book that I have read in this series, however, I did not have any trouble at all picking it up and reading it as a stand alone novel. I do look forward to reading future books in the series, as well as going back and reading some of the earlier novels, too.I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.You can read this review on my blog:https://brittreadsfiction.wordpress.c...
